Nations – Week 2

Nations – Week 2

Military might does not make a mighty nation, but rather moral might makes a nation mighty. Proverbs 13:34 tells us that righteousness is what exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people. Our nation as with all nations needs to understand that their legacy will not be seen from the perspective of their humanly wise legislations, or by the size of their welfare programs, but rather by the depth of their devotion and adherence to the laws of the Kingdom of God.

Open mockery of the things of God is prevalent in the halls of governmental facilities, but God will not be mocked for long. As He is the King of all Kings and the Lord of all Lords, soon the frailty of the imaginations of mankind will be shown to be the folly that it is. Godly men and women in the halls of government are assaulted daily with the opportunity to feel undone by the few in their number. However our God is not hindered by the size of the army, but by the size of the spirit.

Prayer:
Father, I pray for those in authority in our land, and particular today for those who bear Your name unashamedly. Father, remind them that there is NOTHING to prevent You from saving by many or by few. Bolster and build their spirits today to trust in You with all their heart. Let them call upon Your Name before every committee meeting and directive they must act upon. Let them choose the fear of God and not the fear of man. And Lord, let them see the reward of their Godly actions, lest they faint in their minds. Strengthen them, encourage them, and bless their families and homes in a mighty way, in Jesus’ Name, Amen.
